Glenn Todd
Bass Guitar, Vocals
Loris, SC native Glenn Todd is a veteran singer, songwriter, and bass guitarist who took the stage at age nine and never looked back.
Beyond fronting Glen Todd and Whitewater, Glen anchored the groove for Bill Pinkney and the Original Drifters. A premier live act, he has opened for absolute legends ranging from Ray Charles and The Beach Boys to Lee Greenwood, Blackhawk, Sawyer Brown, and many others.
Tim Sidden
Keyboards, Vocals, Harmonica
Tim Sidden is a North Carolina native whose professional music career spans more than four decades. By age 21, he had played piano on more than 100 Gospel and Country recordings before joining Calvin Gilmore Productions in Myrtle Beach, SC, in 1990. As Featured Pianist for The Dixie Jubilee and later The Carolina Opry, Tim performed nearly 5,000 shows and never missed a performance. He also became a highly sought-after orchestrator, producing arrangements for touring artists and recording projects while contributing to productions that earned the prestigious South Carolina Governor's Cup twice.
In 2004, Tim moved to Nashville, where his career expanded as a pianist, producer, arranger, and session musician. He toured with the Honky-Tonk Tailgate Party featuring some of Country music's biggest 90s stars and performed on legendary stages including the Ryman Auditorium and Grand Ole Opry. His music and orchestration work have been featured on Country and Gospel radio, as well as television networks including ESPN and Discovery Channel. A 2017 Multi-CBMA "Cammy" Award winner.

Dr. Jim Bob Pendall
Drums, Percussion
Dr. Jim Bob Pendell is currently an instructor of percussion at Coastal Carolina University. He holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Texas Tech University, a Master of Music degree from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Texas Tech University.
Jim Bob maintains an active performing career in the Myrtle Beach area and made his Grand Ole Opry debut in March 2025.
Jay Henson
Steel Guitar, Banjo
From the mountains of West Virginia to the stages of America's most iconic venues, Jay Henson has spent a lifetime dedicated to authentic country and bluegrass music. A North Carolina resident since the late 1980s, Jay developed his love for traditional Appalachian music at an early age. By just 12 years old, he was competing in banjo contests and joining local jam sessions, laying the foundation for a career that has spanned decades. As his passion grew, Jay expanded his talents by mastering the pedal steel guitar, becoming a highly respected multi-instrumentalist whose distinctive sound has been featured on stages and in recording studios across the country.
Throughout his career, Jay has performed at some of the nation's most prestigious venues and events, including the Grand Ole Opry, House of Blues, Walt Disney World, Opryland USA, Carolina Opry, Greg Rowles Legacy Theatre, National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, MerleFest, Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion, Carolina Country Music Festival, Poppy Mountain Bluegrass Festival, the World's Fair in Knoxville, NASCAR All-Star Race, and countless regional and national festivals. His versatility and musicianship have also earned him opportunities to perform alongside nationally recognized artists and appear in acclaimed tribute productions celebrating legends such as Garth Brooks, Toby Keith, and Patsy Cline.
Whether performing for thousands on a major concert stage or bringing a recording session to life in the studio, Jay Henson delivers the authenticity, professionalism, and heartfelt musicianship that only comes from a lifetime devoted to country music. Aaron Rodgers
Lead Guitar
Aaron Rodgers is a Grammy-nominated producer, engineer, guitarist, and musician with more than 20 years of experience in Nashville’s music scene. Over his career, he’s worked with artists including Toby Keith’s contemporaries such as Dolly Parton, George Jones, Vince Gill, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Jamey Johnson, Reba, Doug Stone, and many others, while also producing Grammy-nominated and award-winning recordings of his own.
As a seasoned performer, producer, and studio owner, Aaron brings an authentic understanding of classic country music, combining world-class musicianship with the energy, tone, and attitude that made Toby Keith one of country music’s greatest entertainers.
Johnny Cochran
Fiddle
Johnny Cochran can play any instrument with strings but his heart belongs to the fiddle. He has also been known to pick up the acoustic guitar, upright bass, dobro, banjo, and even the mandolin.
Child prodigy Johnny Cochran began his musical career at the age of three, and by the time he was four, he was performing for the public on WWVA'S live Radio Show and "The Wheeling Jamboree" broadcast from the old Capital Theatre in Wheeling, West Virginia.
Johnny began performing with his father, Frank Cochran and soon his sister and three brothers joined in to form the bluegrass and country band known as "The Cochran Family". Hailing from Diana, West Virginia, The Cochran Family traveled extensively during the 1970's. With his ability to play any instrument with strings Johnny found his heart playing the fiddle and helped to build a fan following.
Over the course of his career, Johnny's tremendous talent has led him to play with legendary icons including George Jones, Johnny Paycheck and Lynn Anderson. Johnny is a former cast member of the "American Mountain Theater" in Elkins, West Virginia. He is a Four-time West Virginia State Fiddling Champion and in 2023 he was inducted into the WV County Music Hall of Fame.
Tom Ross
Sax, Flute, Backup Vocals
A lifelong musician, Tom Ross began his musical journey on clarinet in the fifth grade in 1961 before transitioning to saxophone and playing his first dance in 1963. Over the years, he performed and recorded with a variety of regional bands, including Second Sun, Mama’s Home Cooking, Five Pound Smile, Crosswinds, and Second Nature.
After stepping away from performing for nearly 25 years to focus on family, he remained deeply involved in music through his church, helping establish the Shandon Baptist Church Orchestra in Columbia, which has grown into a 40-member ensemble performing weekly. He also occasionally served as Minister of Music, leading a 150+ voice choir, full orchestra, and congregation of more than 2,500.
Returning to the stage in 2010, he joined The Footnotes, inductees of the R&B/Beach Music Hall of Fame, and has since performed with numerous groups and productions throughout the region and beyond. For the past 15 years, he has also been a member of the Landslide Band of Camden, performing 30–40 shows annually, while continuing to perform with Jim Hayes and Friends and with recording artists Andy and Oneida.
In 2026, he was invited to assemble a horn section for Charlie Floyd and the band behind “Shoulda Been a Cowboy,” The Toby Keith Tribute Show where he performs at all the shows.
Tim Sox
Trumpet
Tim “Sox” has been passionate about music since picking up the trumpet in the fifth grade. Over the course of his career, he has performed with a wide variety of bands and groups, entertaining audiences across the country and sharing the stage with legendary artists including The Beach Boys, Liza Minnelli, Little Anthony, and numerous Motown greats.
Known for bringing the “sizzle” to the horn section, Tim combines energy, precision, and a powerful musical presence to every performance. His decades of experience and versatility have made him a valued member of every ensemble he has joined. From classic hits and Motown favorites to country and contemporary music, Tim’s dynamic trumpet playing helps elevate every show and create memorable experiences for audiences everywhere.
Jeff Smith
Production Manager
A North Carolina native who has called the Grand Strand home since the 1990s, Jeff Smith has spent decades working behind the scenes to help create the kind of live entertainment audiences never forget. His career began in the trenches of the music business, working security and stagehand positions at venues such as The Alabama Nightlife, where he had the opportunity to work alongside some of country music’s biggest names, including the Kentucky Headhunters, David Ball, Confederate Railroad, and Kenny Chesney.
For more than 20 years, Jeff has been an essential part of Charlie Floyd’s team, wearing just about every hat imaginable—from sound and lighting to special effects and even serving as a tour bus driver. Today, as Stage Manager and Technical Director, Jeff is the guy making sure everything works, everyone is where they need to be, and the show runs flawlessly. His experience, dedication, and behind-the-scenes expertise make him a vital part of delivering a first-class production every time the curtain goes up.
